Isn't that amazing? So much time and love spent on these capes.
Fashion is fast and hard these days, collection after collection. You haven't seen it or the next day there's something better.

Well I'm going to decorate the Christmas tree!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

No camera so I'll post another amazing piece of fashion history.
Today menswear, Of course I love dresses, but these jackets are really worth it, the details are so fabulous.

History has always been a great inspiration ad it will always be.

I found these amazing pictures in a book of the Kyoto costume institute.
I just had to show them, fashion was so much more back then, than it's now, just look at these pictures (I haven't got the time to scan them all in, so this is it for now, but I'll post more in time)

From left to the right.
Pink Lyons brocade with stripe ans floral pattern. self-fabric an fly trim; single-flounced pagoda sleeves; matching petticoat.
1770-1775
Yellow Lyons brocade with white floral stripe; compères with buttons; doubleflounced pagoda sleeves; matching petticoat.
1770-1775
Blue Lyons silk cannelé with stripe and floral ribbon motif; compères with buttons; double-flounced pagoda sleeves; matching petticoat.

And here are some details:
I've always had a thing with sleeves, aren't these beautiful?
