More old fashion

No camera so I'll post another amazing piece of fashion history.
Today menswear, Of course I love dresses, but these jackets are really worth it, the details are so fabulous.


Man's suit (coat, waistcoat, and breeches)
Wine-red wool, coat and waistcoat decorated with gold braid and buttons wrapped with gold threads, sleeved waistcoat, jabot of Valenciennes laces, sleeve ruffles of Binche lace.

Three-piece set of coat, waistcoat, and breeches, coat and waistcoat of stripped Lyons silk brocade, embroidered with sequins ans mirror beads, waistcoat in silk cannelé, self-fabric-wrapped buttons.

Balmain sucks when you see this. Nobody can do this any more.

Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do. I've got 2 books with more than 300 pages, so I keep posting "old fashion".
