Oh how I hate cold wet weather. But I love the sun!
I know you all liked my furry jacket, soon I'll post al lot of photos of my jacket. But it's to hot today! So I'm wearing my Malandrino dress again. Oh how I love this dress.
Levis jacket, D&G sandals, and my Malandrino dress.
Isn't my hair amazing? Lol, it took me hours to get it a bit less frizzy, didn't totally work out, I think I really need a haircut.

And I've also got a new shoe crush!Recognize them?
This is also my first illustration I post on A tale of two shoes, so I hope you like it!

Enjoy the sun!

Just some DIY things I want to try.

Studs, I don't know why but suddenly they're everywhere! (jak&jil)

Tie dye jeans (and the beaded vest)

(vogue)

It looks so easy, But probably it's really hard to attach the crystals to the tights.
(Emanuel Ungaro fw 09 via pipeline.com)

More beaded tights (but this is more suitable for on a dress or a skirt)
(can anyone tell me who the designer is, please?)

No camera so I'll post another amazing piece of fashion history.
Today menswear, Of course I love dresses, but these jackets are really worth it, the details are so fabulous.

Man's suit (coat, waistcoat, and breeches)
Wine-red wool, coat and waistcoat decorated with gold braid and buttons wrapped with gold threads, sleeved waistcoat, jabot of Valenciennes laces, sleeve ruffles of Binche lace.

Aren't those buttons amazing?

Balmain sucks when you see this. Nobody can do this any more.

Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do. I've got 2 books with more than 300 pages, so I keep posting "old fashion".

History has always been a great inspiration ad it will always be.

I found these amazing pictures in a book of the Kyoto costume institute.
I just had to show them, fashion was so much more back then, than it's now, just look at these pictures (I haven't got the time to scan them all in, so this is it for now, but I'll post more in time)

1770-1775
Blue Lyons silk cannelé with stripe and floral ribbon motif; compères with buttons; double-flounced pagoda sleeves; matching petticoat.

And here are some details:
